Andy Schulman has done it again.

What a creative force. 3D, voice talent, illustration, and sculpture. I envy his creative impetus. He most graciously gave me his "bugtail" to adorn the loft. Here it is in his portfolio. While you're there, check out the rest of his amazing personal work, as well as his stuff for TMX.

Congrats to Jon and Linda on their newest addition, Tyler!

And a happy 1 year birthday to Cooper, officially completed last August 21st...

Aden in NoLib continues to amaze. Every time we've been there we've been made to feel like royalty. the whole red carpet treatment, as if all their years of preparation had been made only for the opportunity to serve us Monday night. Incredible. An easy tie for first place honors for "Best Freaking Restaurant Ever" with the equally incredible Dmitri's. Just found Aden's site here.

Earlier tonight we skirted a thunderstorm. As it rolled past an incredible double rainbow appeared. I snapped these photos with the digital before it disappeared... you can just barely make out the fainter double pattern... check them out.

Happy birthday Mr. Hitchcock.

Kendra and I are back from vacation. The trip was good, the scooter was a blast, but travelling to and from was pretty much a nightmare. I forgot my wallet, and subsequently my ID, when we were supposed to leave, which meant resceduled flights. On the way back, we got held up in lines, then got triple searched for scissors that ultimately wound up being ok for travel, and had to run to make our flight, which arrived early, then was scheduled for a noise-reduction landing that put us back 15 minutes, the we got stuck in a holding pattern because of limited visibility. But I didn't burn, nor did I lose or forget anything else, and all in all we had a nice relaxing time...

I unfortunately missed the Philly Mini Run, but here are some pics...

Brilliant Radiohead video here.

And finally, Scunci gets it's home on the web... Flash stuff looks good, Marc...

MINI run through Bucks County PA yestarday was killer. Before the whole thing started off, Kellie Patrick of the Inky asked us a few questions, and now we're famous... check out our quotes in the paper here.

58 MINIs (well, there were a few wannabies and old Minis) all in a row wreaking havoc on the quiet country roads. There was a stretch there at the end where the car really got to stretch it's legs... poor Kendra was holding on tight! So was I!

I washed the car before I went, but I shouldn't have... there was a prize catergory for filthiest wheels. I would have won hands down.

Brian Isserman (the Izza) posted the quote on the wall in my office. And Jeff reminds me that "if I were any more magnetic, I'd have a toaster stuck to my left shoulder". Funny stuff.

Thanks to everyone for making this run a lot more pleasant than the last year's... much more fun, and much friendlier people. I'm a bit bummed I'll be missing the Philly run this upcoming weekend, but Kendra and I will be sweating to death in Florida on vacation!

I'll post the digital pics as soon as I get the cable back from Kendra's house...

Cool stuff:
Operation Slaps - play slap the hand on the computer
Wetsand.com - awesome surf site with surf tracking tools... and nicely designed...
